How do I build my city in GeraCity?

GeraCity is a tap-to-build smart city simulator. You start with an empty plot of land and a small budget of in-game coins. Tap any empty tile to see a building menu — you can place hospitals (powered by GeraClinic), restaurants (powered by GeraEats), apartments (powered by GeraRent), banks (powered by GeraCash), markets (powered by GeraMarket), farms (powered by GeraFarm), clinics, schools, parks, transport hubs, and more. Each building generates in-game income and increases your city's happiness rating. As your population and income grow, you unlock upgrades, new building types, and larger city zones. There is no time limit — build at your own pace.

How does the GeraCoins economy work in the game?

GeraCity has two currencies. In-game City Coins are the primary build currency — they are generated by your buildings, spent on new constructions, and never leave the game. GeraCoins are Gera Services' real rewards currency and are earned through gameplay milestones: unlocking your first 10 buildings (50 GeraCoins), reaching a population of 1,000 citizens (100 coins), completing special challenge events (25–200 coins), and referring a friend who downloads the game (75 coins per referral). GeraCoins sync to your Gera account in real time and can be spent as real discounts on GeraEats, GeraClinic, GeraRent, GeraLearn, and all other Gera Services. 100 GeraCoins = $1 off.

Do the in-game buildings link to real Gera services?

Yes — this is what makes GeraCity unique. Every building in your city is backed by a real Gera service. Tap on your in-game hospital and you get a shortcut to book a real telemedicine consultation on GeraClinic. Tap on a restaurant and you can browse the real GeraEats menu for your area. Tap on a clinic and you can schedule a checkup. Tap on an apartment and it links to GeraRent listings near you. This integration is the bridge between the game and real life: your virtual city mirrors a real economy of services you can actually use. Buildings also unlock bonus GeraCoins when you first use the real service they represent.

Is there multiplayer in GeraCity?

GeraCity currently supports asynchronous multiplayer through City Visits. You can share your city as a link and other players can visit, leave ratings, and leave feedback comments. Your city's visitor count and average rating are shown on the global City Gallery leaderboard, ranked by population, happiness score, and design originality. Real-time cooperative building (two players building in the same city simultaneously) is planned for a future update. Competitive city-building events — where players compete to build the highest-rated city within a 7-day theme window — run monthly and offer large GeraCoins prizes.

How many cities can I save?

Free accounts can save 2 cities simultaneously. GeraGames Premium accounts can save up to 10 cities and export city snapshots as shareable images. Each save slot is stored in the cloud and syncs across devices, so you can continue building on your phone, tablet, or the web. City saves are backed up daily — if you make a mistake (demolishing something by accident), you can restore from yesterday's backup from your city settings menu. Free account saves are also cloud-backed, so your progress is never lost if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

Are there achievements to unlock?

Yes. GeraCity has over 80 achievements across six categories: Construction (buildings placed), Economy (income milestones), Population (citizen count), Happiness (rating milestones), Exploration (discovering building combinations), and Gera Integration (using real Gera services from in-game links). Achievements award in-game City Coins, cosmetic city decorations (special building skins, themed zones, seasonal items), and GeraCoins for major milestones. Achievement progress is shared across all your saved cities. A permanent achievement showcase on your public city profile lets other players see your history. Some achievements are hidden and only revealed once you are close to unlocking them.

Can I reset my city progress?

You can reset an individual save slot from the City Settings menu — this demolishes all buildings and returns you to an empty plot with your starting budget. This is irreversible for that save slot (yesterday's backup will also be cleared). Your overall account progress — achievements, total GeraCoins earned, and profile stats — is never reset by clearing a city. If you want to experiment without risking your main city, create a new save slot instead of resetting. Full account deletion (which clears all cities and profile data) can be requested from your Gera account settings and takes 14 days to process per GDPR requirements.

Do I need to spend real money to progress?

No. GeraCity is designed to be completely playable and enjoyable without spending real money. All buildings, upgrades, and city zones are unlockable through normal gameplay. In-game City Coins generate passively from your buildings and actively from completing challenges, so there is no energy system or forced waiting. The optional in-app purchase is GeraGames Premium ($4.99/month), which adds extra save slots, exclusive cosmetic building themes, ad-free experience, and priority access to new content drops. Premium is purely cosmetic and convenience — it does not let you build faster or unlock buildings unavailable to free players. We will never sell gameplay advantages.
